Wa ʿalaykumu s-salam ( وَعَلَيْكُم ٱلسَّلَامُ) is an Arabic greeting often used by Muslims around the world translating to "may peace be upon you". It is a blessing given to another. It is the standard response to the As-salamu alaykum ( ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ) greeting. [1] [2] The greetings are In this greeting there is the Name of Allah, which is As-Salam. That is one of His attribute whom He frees his servants from all danger and obstruction. So when we say Assalamu Alaykum, we hope that As-Salam will free the people we greet from danger and obstruction. Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, highlighted the value of this greeting by When we say fard prayers are sobh/fajr two raka'a dohr, 'asr and 'isha are 4 raka'a and al-Maghrib 3 raka'a: this means the prayer which has been started with the takbira will have to be ended this means you need to leave the prayer and therefore you have to do salam at the end of the last raka'a according to each prayer: you do this by Finally, preachers and callers, and Muslims in general, should be careful when attributing any hadith to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) lest they be included with those who tell lies about the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), who said: “Whoever attributes any words to me that I did not say

sallam. no you cant: Abu Dawood (6) and Ibn Maajah (296) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “These toilets are visited (by jinn), so when any one of you goes to the toilet, let him say, ‘Allaahumma inni a’oodhu bika min al-khubthi wa’l-khabaa’ith (O Allaah, I seek refuge with You from evil and from the male and female devils) before you enter
And I believe it is the name Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم, for which we must say صلى الله عليه وسلم, and not the other titles but there may be differing about this. This is what I heard from a da’ee when I was being introduced to Islam some years ago, and commenting on this Hadith, May Allah reward him well. D.
